DESCRIPTION

I adapted the work National Geographic (2009) for this issue of Blind Spot. The imagery in the piece is derived from a collection of National Geographic magazines from the 1970's and 1980's. One set of images consists of a frontal view of different mountains, clipped from the titular magazine. A corresponding set of images shows the reverse side of the clipping, literalizing a passage from the front of the mountain to the back. In this issue, the front and reverse sides of the mountain are printed recto-verso and are distributed throughout the edition.
